Jesus Loves Me

After church last night, Gentry wanted to sing for us. She told us to sit down!..LOL Then she grabbed her bible and went to singing. She became a lot more "into it" when I pulled out the video camera. I think she is going to love being in front of people, there is not a shy bone in her body. I take great pride in knowing that my child loves to sing Bible songs. Out of all the songs in the world, she loves her bible songs the best. That makes me feel good as a parent. Enjoy! You can get her autograph later..lol

Slacker

Ok so I have been slacking with the posts. I have been really busy here lately. I'm trying to get my school work done because graduation is right around the corner for me yay!! And I have been busy putting in applications at places. We are doing fine! The kids have had colds for the past couple days but we are all enjoying the beautiful weather God has given us right now!

Busy Weekend

We had a busy weekend at the white house. We wanted to take advantage of the nice weather. Everyone with small children knows how beneficial sunlight and warm weather can be. So Austin's friend, Nick has a cattle farm. So we thought it would be fun to take the kids to see some cows. There is one there that you can bottle feed, which we thought Gentry would enjoy. She did not! She didnt want to touch the poor little 2 week old cow, she wanted to stay in a close proximity to the cow just not in touching range. Jameson wanted to ride the cow. He almost jumped out of Austin's arms to get to the cow. Everytime the little cow would go, "Moo" Jameson would laugh. Too cute! We also went and saw the Easter Bunny. Poor Gentry was scared of him too. I guess Saturday ended up being a torture Gentry day (sorry babygirl). Once again Jameson loved the easter bunny. He wanted to give him kisses. Well now it is raining outside and very cold, and I'm so glad we took the kids outside to enjoy the sunlight while we had it.

What I learn from my kids

"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about." -anonymous

The weather yesterday was wonderful! So after work and picking the kids up at daycare, Gentry and I spent a little time outside. She colored with sidewalk chalk. She would hear a bird and have to "draw" it, then a dog, then she would attempt to draw the heart she had on her shoes. She would make a line and get so excited because she had just drawn something. Then she wanted me to draw the same thing. Well since mine didn't look like hers, she told me mine was wrong!..haha. It doesn't matter that her bird and dogs didn't look anything like a bird or dog, she thought it did, and that was all that mattered. Gentry doesn't have a care in the world. She doesn't know that the world is not that good of a place anymore, that people are getting shot left and right, that children are abused. She is happy! This makes me the happiest person in the world.

Momma's Boy

I think it's time I write about Jameson now seeing as to how all of my posts have been about Gentry. Well as most of you know Jameson is probably the biggest momma's boy that has ever existed. I must admit that sometimes it can be stressful on me when I would like to go to the grocery store by myself, take a shower, go to bed early because I have a headache, and basically anything else I might want to do. There has been an extremely tight bond between the 2 of us since June 18, 2009 (when he was born). I'm not sure why he will hardly ever let anyone feed him, put him to sleep, rock him, or sing to him other than me. It makes me feel good that he loves me though! So here are some pictures of my right hand man, my little side kick, Jameson!!

Birthday Party Pictures

Well we made it through the party. I am exhausted to say the least. Gentry got everything she could have ever wanted and for that we are truly greatful. Here are a few pics from the day.

Gentry Michelle

So, 2 years ago today Austin and I were holding our sweet baby girl for the first time. Finally after all the doctors visits, vomitting, and her hard kicks, we got to see her. She was well worth the wait. I always was told how great being a mommy is, but I NEVER WOULD HAVE IMAGINED HOW GREAT IT WOULD BE. To be honest motherhood has made me a basket case (lol). I worry and cry all the time. But I also laugh, smile, and enjoy everyday of it. I love being a mommy and I love my baby girl.
